Busy with Art...

okay so my nephew josh really wanted his room to be painted in robots and space stuff and so tara had asked me to do some painting in his room.... so that's what i did. overall it was a good learning experience. I've never painted with house paint or on walls before so it took some getting used to but i think it turned out pretty fun.

Also.. i was asked to paint the Wizard of Oz characters for the doors in the church for a Relief Society activity since i'm on the enrichment committee. anywho... in typical Lindsay fashion i waited until the DAY BEFORE to paint them.. so i had to do it FAST! i like the NON human characters but dorothy really chaps me. ugh.. oh well.. overall i think it went well :)

WE LOOOOOVE IT!!! So you found your camera? sorry to hear about your auntie. I think it's wonderful that you have the blanket for Lucas, something to connect her to him in the years to come. (more than just photos. That's how I feel about Bertie with Jade) Miss you, and hope you feel recovered from being here! Josh loves his room, really. I just bought some glow-in-the dark paint to make little starlet sparkles in space near your blue ones. I hope it turns out ok. I'm afraid to touch anything you did, cause it's SO awesome! Thank you again Lindsay! Love you! (I'll make a new diaper bag for every baby you have! So take advantage of that and have lots of babies!) j/k...about the having lots of babies part. :)

oh, and I just got the silver paint for the bed too, so the room won't look like an amazing creation with a God-aweful Monstrously huge wood bed. :) Thanks again, see you soon!

That room was awesome. I would love to be able to do that. I try to get Shawn to do things like that but he won't. Miss you!

Every time I think I can't be more amazed by your work you go and do something like that! It's insane! And the ceiling too? You're practically Michelangelo, only with female parts.

Are you kidding? Dorothy is awesome! It' still on the wall in the ids' room and Natalie has to show it to any friend who comes over- and grandma too, of course. Great job on the space room. I would have been at a total loss as to what to paint. It turned out really amazing. No wonder he wants to tak it with him wherever he goes!
