Sunday Bloody Sunday

What an UNinteresting day... Enos and I were bored beyond beLIEF. It's now 9:30pm and we've done... well... NOTHING.....we didn't go to church because we didn't know where our stake building was (even after looking online, we had stake conference and apparently our ward doesn't exist) and i was feeling a bit queezy.... we topped the day off by going to the grocery store because i was craving milk and we only had soy milk. When we came back... i'm not sure how it all started but we ended up swaddling (well enos did) Geoffrey and then all cuddling on the bed and laughing at how ridiculous he looked, cozy he was and how degrading it must have been for him. So naturally... we took pictures.

Hey, it's good practice for when the baby comes. Sometimes swaddling is the only thing that will make that baby sleep at night. I love your cat's expression in the first picture . . . it's sad/funny/tormented all at the same thing. He's sweet for putting up with that. Our cat would never stay still for that!

That's hilarious.

We went to 1/3 of church, Henry came down with the flu Ray had, we cleaned the whole house, and Ray and I went to a birthday party.

I wish I had time to swaddle a cat, but we had to have a super Sunday since Andrew has been working Saturdays.

Awesome.

Sorry we were no help yesterday for your boredom. It seriously was not the best sunday for us, we went between moods of tension with the kids, to "this is such a DRAG!" about cleaning up the house/yard. You would not have wanted to be around that, even though it's a normal part of parenthood, you don't need to be exposed to it yet. :) Have you worked on your mobile for Lucas, or any monster designs for his room yet? And do you know what colors you are going to go with? Jade likes making ugly-doll monsters, so we want to know. Geoffrey looks like a caterpillar in shock. Seriously, enjoy being bored, I can't remember the last time I felt that way, honestly. Friday was WAY fun for us, lets do it again soon! :)

In the 1st picture, he looks a little sad, and a little mad that you are taking pictures. By the second, he's just plain embarrassed and his ears are going back into pissed kitty mode. i hope ya'll gave him a special treat after this. btw, i love the sheets. they look very comfy.

i agree with sarah...isaak STILL has to be swaddled to go to bed. he loves it. most babies grow out of it really really fast, like in the first few weeks but Izey still loves it and ppl give me looks like i'm retarded when i have him all swaddled in stores and stuff. who cares, he's happy. but not as happy as your sad kitty.

Poor kitty! His mean abusive parents take delight in his torture!!

(Trust me, the only thing better than torturing your cat is torturing your kid! "Sorry, dude, I already ATE your nose so there's no way I can give it back..." "WHAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!")

That is funny, I just left a similar comment on Jeesica's blog regarding the squishy Isaac. The things our cats put up with.
